BS English (English Linguistics)
The BS English (English Linguistics) is a four-year undergraduate degree designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the English language through the scientific study of its structure, use, development, and interaction with society, culture, cognition, and technology. The programme combines the intellectual breadth of English Studies with the analytical strength of Linguistics, enabling students to explore language at the levels of sound, word, sentence, meaning, discourse, and communication. Alongside core areas of linguistics and English language studies, students are introduced to Applied Linguistics, English Language Teaching, Sociolinguistics, Psycholinguistics, Corpus Linguistics, Discourse Studies, Stylistics, Research Methods, and emerging intersections of language, E-Rozgar and Artificial Intelligence.
